HOW TO ENABLE AUTO TAGGING IN ADWORDS
If you want your Adwords account to properly separate Google organic visitors from Adwords visitors, it is necessary to enable auto-tagging. Otherwise, all of those visits will be attributed to showing up in Google organic results. Hard to accurately figure your ROI if you cannot differentiate between the two.
Log into Adwords at adwords.google.com
Click the new gear icon in the top right corner beside your Customer ID #.
Click Account Settings.
Halfway down the page, under Account preferences, see “Tracking” .
Click Edit and select Auto Tagging.
